Hi Phil
Just wanted to tell you - just walked Cody and I cried when I got home!!!
He was abit cheeky when left the house but in a few minutes he was trotting along beside me with an actual smile on his face :-)
He was happy we saw a dog and he looked at me - thankfully in other side of the road - but I wasn't nervous and he didn't try and get across!
I know we may have a few days where he plays me up to come but that walk was amazing :-)
Thanks for your help
Tracey

My first ever testimonial
Dear Phil
The pleasure of your visit was matched by Daisy and me. You quickly gained Daisy's respect and affection and put me at ease. I appreciated the opportunity to express my anxieties to which you listened and gained insight to the relationship Daisy and I have. It was obvious you thought she was a nice little dog and if you thought she was lucky to have such a home and garden then you will have noticed that I think I'm pretty lucky to have her. Yes, I want the best for her which means putting the effort into making her a well-behaved dog and I am encouraged by your advice.
Thank you for taking so much time with us this afternoon. I don't know quite what I was expecting but I was impressed by your calm and wise approach and hands-on experience. It helped more than I can say. I have a programme to work with and the assurance of your continuing support.
Thank you so much for detailing all we worked at; we covered a lot of ground. These ideas are something I can really work with. I will let you know progress.
Kind regards
Susan

Hi Phil,
I meant to respond to your previous  email to say thank you for your help.  Things are going well, I think Luna is  starting to realise that she is not the  pack leader..although she still tries  to be. She is generally more obedient when  told what to do. We have not tackled  the barking or the recall as I am focusing  on the more basic things. The  information you sent is very helpful. I bought  Victoria Stilwell's book as well which I  find very interesting to read. So far so good, I  fear we may struggle with the  barking but when we come to that I may have to ask  for your help.
We'll be in touch. Many thanks
Aphrodite

Hello Phil
Thankyou for the training session  we had at Winteron on Friday, I did enjoy it , it was the best walk I'd had with  trisha since I got her.
I went there again on Saturday  with my daughter, her staffy and dolly, I felt a lot more relaxed after you had  told me what to do. Trisha was loose  about 20 yards in front of me when 3  labs came running up to her, I called her back and she came straight back to me,  which I thought was brilliant, a bit later we met another lady and before trisha  could get to her dogs, who were off lead I called her and  there she was by  my side. A bit later she saw dogs in  the far distance and off she went  did her 10ft away bark I called her and  she came back, I put her on the lead and a bit later gave her a treat. I felt there was a lot of  improvement, although I know I have a lot of work to do.

Hi
Phil,
Thank  you for your time on Friday, it was really useful.  Unfortunately  since Friday the majority of our walks have had to be places we know, but,
although this sounds like it may be a disaster it hasn't been at all.  We've  been using the techniques you showed us and within 4 days, he is not pulling my  arm out of it's socket to get out of the house or down the road, he is  looking back at me quicker when I stop and in these 4 days he has not had to  wear his "halti "at all. (something I wouldn't have dreamed of doing  before). There is still work to be done and for us to continue now we've  started, but early signs are very promising :-)  His  recall is good and we continue to give him cheese, which he loves.
We have tried the  technique you told us about with his behavior to dogs with a friends dog  (Buster).  We walked up to them and kept walking past getting closer and  closer (I ignored him and continued to walk every time he growled and praised  when he didn't), within 10 mins he was ignoring Buster.
Thanks
again and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Phil. Thanks to your advice last night and chatting things through I am confident that we have found the source of the problem and you were right!!!!!
Khaleesi coped with two contractors who came round today to check on my wet floors - she accepted teats and by the end of the visit (30mins) she was sniffing them and NO BARKING.
Megan has just come back from a short walk - no lead and they passed a lady - no issues. Too good to be true! The only way is up from here.
You are a legend
Thanks

Hi Phil,
Thank you for that email  with so many brilliant training advice. I will spend much time looking through  those videos and digesting!
A MASSIVE thankyou for  yesterday, mum and I were both VERY impressed and happy with your advice.  Straight after your went I tried the 'leave' with the treat on my knee.. She was  doing very well and managed to move it to the floor and the kitchen work top  edge. She was well behaved on her walk this lunchtime and amazingly good in the  pub today too! I can already see improvements.
Thankyou again
Kind regards,
 Jess.

Phillip  has worked with me for 3 sessions for my 2 dogs, Millie is a 21 month old  caveliar cross cocker and Toby  is  a 7 month old staffordshire bull terrier cross springer spaniel. The main areas  I wanted to work on was walking on the lead, excessive barking and Toby jumping  all over anyone who came to the house!
From  the first contact I made with Phillip I found him to be very knowledgeable and  unassuming. He gave me advice over the phone which i put into place straight  away.
On  our first meeting Phillip met the 2 'hounds from hell 'and we went through all  that my daughter and I needed to do, Phillip was understanding,
relaxed and patient.
We  were set homework to do after each session and I was pleasently surprised about  the improvements that came each day by following what Phillip had shown  me.
I  cannot recommend Phillip enough, he is a balanced individual who clearly  understands how dogs work, and to top it off is flexible and excellent value for  money.
If  you are willing to put in the work and follow the advice given by Phillip you  cannot go wrong, even thought Millie and Toby have a way to go yet, I have been  given the tools by Phillip to achieve happy and well mannered  dogs.
Thank
you Phillip for all you help and advice!!
Claire x
